Kam Raslan is a writer and director, working in film, TV and theatre in Malaysia. He is a columnist in The Edge weekly and Off the Edge magazine. His writings were previously compiled in Generation: A Collection of Contemporary Malaysian Ideas. He also writes for the Instant Cafe Theatre and will one day make his own feature film.

Where in the World is Kam Raslan?
Well, he was away, and now he's back. But he kept himself busy during his well-deserved six-week break, attending events, writing some, reading lots, and going through a John Le Carre phase, who he said he "can't get enough of". Here's a run-down of what Kam was up to.

Kam led a creative writing workshop organised by MPH Bookstores in conjunction with World Book Day

Kam attended a "Meet the Authors" Book Talk and Hi-Tea organised by the Women's Institute of Management

Kam's book, Confessions of an Old Boy: The Dato' Hamid Adventures, came in second place in The Star-Popular Readers' Choice Awards for Fiction
